Commissioned to make two more dice towers

18 pieces cut, 9 pieces per tower, not including the bounce boards.

Doing a rounded cutout on the tray walls. First time.

Got stupid and crudely carved teeth for the main gate on one tower.

Then, for the next gate.

I did something a little different

So, unremarkable, but interesting to me

Cutouts of different shapes. Each tower is for a different person in the same game group, so we have to make them a bit unique.

Stacked to test for bounce boards

Taped off the interiors for stain and poly.

First round of stain. I've never used stain on a tower yet. I think it's going ok so far. I'm sure I'll post the final finished photos on here. Right now I'm just waiting for the super long dry time in between coats.
