Typical dosing for fentanyl is in micrograms, versus morphine and dilaudid in milligrams. It doesn't take much to KO your respiratory drive.

And now the cops can no longer taste the white powders to tell if they are cocaine or heroin like in old movies

Isn't a lethal dose of nicotine less than the lethal dose of fentanyl?

7 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 7

No

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I doubt it. Fentanyl is bad bad joojoo.. stay away from that shit..

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Should probably stay away from nicotine also

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Straight 100 percent nicotine is a deadly neurotoxin yes

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Found it. Depending on person's size it's generally 2 mg of fentanyl and roughly 60 mg of nicotine. Glad that mystery is solved

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's just what i heard from my Chemistry class about 15 years ago. I'm surprised at the love I'm getting for asking.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

but nicotine isn't addic .. never mind

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Fun fact Straight nicotine isn't actually as addictive as people think. It's all the added crap in cigarettes that amplify it.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That is 'fun'

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It’s said one drop of pure nicotine could kill someone

But how do they compare to a lethal dose of memes?

7 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

A lot of people are still looking for that number rn

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

From the thumbnail I thought the one on the right said hentai

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I thought so too. But then I realized that the lethal dose of hentai is much smaller than that.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Compare that to carfentanil

7 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

That is insane

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Yeah this is some of the most dangerous stuff on the planet, for sure

7 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

That looks like a couple lethal doses of fentynal.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

There are many levels of fentanyl. Carfentanyl is way way more potent than the fentanyl I give every day at work as a nurse.

Had a friend almost die on my couch from opening and eating a fentanyl patch....idiot

7 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

I've lost a few friends b/cod similar incidents. It's sad.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What? Why?

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Because (I think) eating it makes it all hit at once? People also smoke the patches for the same reason rather than a sustained release

Heroin: Schedule I, Fentanyl: Schedule II, Marijuana: Schedule I

7 years ago | Likes 51 Dislikes 3

Fentanyl is schedule II due to it's use as a painkiller and tranquilizer.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's only fair. I took 1 marajuana once and now I do awful things for nickels.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Cocaine: Schedule II

Always really curious about this, what medicinal use could cocaine have?

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Pharmacist here also used for eye solution for eye surgeries i used to be able to order it st hospitals and it was wayyyyy cheap

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

PharmD here: to stop bleeding. It constricts blood vessels very quickly. Ironically they use it in the OR in nasal surgeries a lot!

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Oh shut the fuck up already and go do something about it

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm in Canada. We've made fentanyls Schedule 1 and have a bill to legalize marijuana working its way through the Senate.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well good, much respect for doing so, but I was talking to OP, also your PM is just right under Trump in terms leadership.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Our PM is much better than Trump.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Truedau is an sjw disguised as a poor excuse for a man. I'm not saying Trump isn't just as bad.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

So people think marijuana is as dangerous as heroine? wtf

7 years ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 2

the feds do

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The US government does. And more dangerous than fentanyl.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

PharmD here: it's not about danger. Potassium isn't scheduled, but that's used every day including in lethal injection. Marijuana is C1 1/?

7 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

RIGHT NOW, it does not have any FDA labeled indications. That may (and probably will) change eventually making it a C2. 2/3

7 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Heroin is not only illicit but also does not have any FDA labeled indications either, thus a C1.

7 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Fentanyl is very useful in hospitals in both sedation and painkilling in the ICU when a patient is intubated. hence C2 3/3

7 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

It also has to do with medical use, in that the gov't thinks weed has none, and fentanyl does. It makes 0 sense

7 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

Also cuz big pharma doesnt want weed to be legal so they just "persuade" the DEA to keep it as a schedule 1 drug

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It won't make enough profit for them. Same with kratom now, it helps so much people but there isn't any profit for big pharma

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yet synthetic cannabis is not schedule 1. Things that make you go hmmmmm...

7 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

PharmD here: cannabinoids have been rigourously tested in clinical trials and seemed safe and effective. Thus its non C1. Once marijuana 1/2

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Follows suit it too will have it's schedule changed. Which I think will happen sooner rather than later. Scheduling is not about how 1.5/2
