The rebuild, the plan

Learning to 3D model, pre-made STLs do not work

First print

First test after delid

Spraying out

After paint

After delid

First liquid metal attempt

The beginning

Sanding and polishing the CPU die

Custom-made power supply cover

Top radiator bracket printed

Magnets to hold cover

System testing before build

Machining AM 4 block to fit AM 5

Test fit

Clearing up the acrylic

More paint

GPU blocking

Prior to Polish

Clearancing offset mounting and M.2 heatsink. Fixing z height

Coming together, mocking up bottom mount

Custom loom and shrink

Bottom mount

10 gig networking does not fit, modification needed

More clearancing work needed

Testing spread pattern with normal thermal paste before liquid metal

Checking thermals

Second round of polishing

Third attempt at liquid metal

idk how much it matters. i know mounting was a pita. 20% pump speed, 5% fan speed, full load on GPU/CPU i sit at 48C GPU and 89C CPU at 5.65Ghz all core. ram cooling is maybe an issue - 28-36-36-42 6200Mhz at 1.39V but some stability issues as temps climb. about 6 hours into y crunch. still have tuning to do. also considering NVME gen5

That's a lot of time and effort. Nicely done.
