I'm curious what European foodies (French/Italian) think of this. Especially the French, since this comes from the American south, heavily influenced by their own culture 200 years ago. I feel like this is their weird cousin that they don't talk about.
Legit question, do you or do you not eat the tough tail ends? Seems like a lot of hassle to bite them off or otherwise remove before enjoying the meal.
They are like handles. You don't eat them. For saucy dishes that are eaten with utensils, it makes sense to remove the tails before cooking- at the same time you remove the shells and legs. For things you eat with your fingers, it can save time to leave the tails on.
Yeah, I think we make fattest city in the US every once in a while and if you live here you understand why. Too much great food and too flipping hot in the summer to exercise except from 4-6 AM.
If you guys used real dishes, not disposable ones, you would find that food tastes better, and you would not be throwing away millions of tons of waste. Congrats on the food, looks awesome.

No thank you, I'm not into seafood that much. I like it in small amounts in other meals, not as a meal itself.

I don't miss Houston summers but holy shit I miss Houston food. One of the best food scenes in the country; easily the best in the south.
