The quater/eighth space loading in the above positioning helps the low frequency extention.

The slight gap between the front panel and main enclosure made a really significant difference and stopped the deisgn feeling too boxy. The gap was painted black for contrast.

The red board was the tricky part, this board took a very long time to design and get working adequately. I am really proud of the finished system though, having 4 channels @ 50W each (or 2.1 with the sub at 100W) fed from a powerful DSP and with high quality APTX Bluetooth on such a small board is fantastic. Oh, and not forgetting analogue stereo inputs and multiple options for control switches and potentiometers.
Custom engraved and infilled panels came out very nicely. The ribbon cable is the DSP programming interface.

DSP tuning. My lounge is the opposite of an anechoic chamber so all measurements were made very near-field!

Bluetooth PCB antenna is the black rectangular object on the top left. Inside the wooden enclosure it's range is still well over 10m and very reliable.

Lots of dampening. The oak has a lovely wooden resonance but we don't want too much!

Another custom aluminium panel.

Finishing the enclosures and the custom floor stands. The floor stands have 5mm steel bars threaded through as the braces, which aren't installed in this picture. The combination of tarnished steel and oak is wonderful.

Very nice. I would definitely put those in my lounge area. The stands look killer with them
