Void Sheep
Likes: floating into the void, bleating telepathically, grazing on primordial magic
Dislikes: being sheared without permission, evil shadow mages, judgy celestial creatures
Native to the emptiness between worlds, void sheep are mysterious critters of otherworldly cuteness and remarkable resilience. Unburdened by hunger, thirst, and the need to breathe, void sheep love to graze on raw magic and float peacefully in flocks across the nothingness of the void.
Despite their eldritch nature, void sheep are social and generally friendly, if not a bit timid. When they leave their familiar void to visit solid worlds, void sheep usually keep their distance and use their innate telepathy to assess the motives of other creatures before deciding to reveal themselves.
If threatened, void sheep can let out dangerous telepathic bleats that blast the minds of would-be aggressors directly.
Nullwool. A void sheep’s fleece is made of nullwool, an otherworldly textile fiber of near-infinite elasticity used in the creation of magic garments. Shearing and scouring nullwool requires enchanted tools and specialized magic, as well as the full cooperation and trust of a void sheep.
