Step 1: The computer/display.
This was probably the easiest. Everything fit and worked right away.
Raspberry Pi 3 B+
Official Raspberry Pi 7" touch screen
SmartPi Touch Pro case
Anker PowerCore Slim 10000 battery

Step 2: The Keyboard
This proved to be the hardest part so far.
Clawsome Boards "The Coupe" 60% board
[photos] My first build (no case yet, for a cyberdeck)

Finished Keyboard
I accidentally joined connections on the ProMicro microcontroller and couldn't desolder it enough to fix. I had to cut the bastard out.
Kailh purple switches
Clawsome board
YMDK Carbon caps
Bit-C microcontroller because I fried the ProMicro.

Step 3: USB keyboard Cable
I decided to do this on a whim. It is not perfect but it works and it was really satisfying.

Current Progress
I mostly need to make something to bind it all together and hold the power pack. I'm contemplating working in a trackball or tiny joystick to act as a mouse, although with the touch screen it's not necessary.

That's really cool.

Heck yeah, very nice! Thoughts about case, will you be 3D printing?
DynamicRabbit
Thank you. I'm not too sure. I'm stuck between 3d printing (I have an ender 3 gathering dust that needs tuning) or fabricating a case/mount.
