Day 21: Yōkai

I’m doing the #MabsDrawlloweenClub and this is my piece for today.

I’ve seen how people use washi tape to illustrate and I wanted to try it! I used 4 different designs

It may look like it made it easier but it wasn’t. I had to complete and rearrange the designs to make it look less flat

It gave me a bit of impostor syndrome. I definitely think it would have looked better if I just painted the dress with watercolors but I really wanted to try something different

I ran out of golden marker half way of doing the background at... 12AM so I worked with what I had at hand

You can see how I cut all the little pieces to make the design more interesting

The candle is so you can see how shiny the yukata is! :)
Is it perfect? No. Do I like it? Also no. But I hope you do! It took 10 hours
