And I thought I was empty inside.

That's the nicest looking retro-style cab with an LCD I've ever seen. How'd you decide on the control panel layout and parts?

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This is my third arcade build (others 2 were Mame) between google and experience.

Where did you hide the Raspberry Pi?

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Was plugged in later

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I would give up my middle toe on my right foot for an original Street Fighter Arcade machine.

Always upvote Raspberry Pi projects.

Where is a good place to get ROM's to play. My son and I pick up the RasPi 3 NES with controllers to build something like this.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Fleebay, arcadepunks and google

Take your upvote and enjoy your arcade, good Sir, Madam, or what-have-you.

I came here for the pie?

Also has a killer stereo and subwoofer with bluetooth. Ill also be adding karaoke.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I would've put the amplifier inside the cabinet with an access panel that opens on the side to adjust the pots if needed.

What's the name of the cow boy game I vaguely remember it....

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'd love to get into hobbies like this. The struggles of a studio apartment doe..

Stick a coin slot in that goes to a cash box & everytime time you play put in a coin. When full can use for whatever, arcade style piggybank

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Can it be modified so I can play it while sitting my fat fuckin ass on the couch?

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

MOAR PICS! and maybe some instructions or list of parts, please.

I love to make stuff guy has a really nice design. I keep meaning to make one too.

-1 for no crt monitor. +2 for still being rad.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You can hide your weed in there...

Nice work! Having the Defender decals on a two-player cab looks a bit odd, but Defender is so iconic that’s easy to forgive!

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The artwork is done like the original, stencil and sprayed.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Thumbs up for that!

Those are Stanley. Same parent company but different brand

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

I love these. One day I wanna build one myself, but then I'd have to get off my lazy ass.

7 years ago | Likes 200 Dislikes 2

Tough call

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Lucky me I'm not lazy. Only broke AF

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I built one of these and used it for years. But they're heavy and bulky as hell, especially if you live in an apartment.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Same here. I wanna do stuff like this but my lazyness and my money don’t let me do it.

7 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

I have a raspberry pi. And I’ve always wanted to do this. I already have everything installed. Just don’t have room for an arcade cabinet

7 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 2

There is a Table-top version so it's smaller . . google it !

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Bartop arcade, I am making one with an old Icade but you can buy kits

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Do you have any recommendations for online guides for setting up a pi with arcade games?

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Install Retropie. Transfer games via FTP or SMB. Play.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I downloaded my ROMs from web sites, a lot of them don't work. What FTP sitez can you recommend?

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I always download roms from websites, the ftp part was transfering to the retropi. Don’t know about any ftp-sites that hosts rom.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Build it into the wall.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Build/buy an arcade stick, use the tv. It’s not as fancy but it’s pretty good.

7 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Thanks for the idea. I’ll look into it

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Happened across these - https://monsterjoysticks.com/all-in-one-joysticks - high end arcade sticks that are a case for a Pi

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Build up an arcade table

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I just got a rasberry pi and first thing Im going to build is a remote control car so I can learn

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Id say a remote controll car might be a leap into the deep. Not to discourage! Its good to have a goal. If you wish to start simple. LEDs

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's a kit build. All instructions included. And I have done robotics with arduino before, but this is my first pi
