Here is a photo of the pedal after modifying it. The new button acts as a tap tempo before the loop starts, and as a stop switch when the loop is active.

You need to drill two holes in order to install this footswitch. One on the clamshell, and one on the main housing.

Wire a normally open momentary footswitch to these two points on the board. This is the "Footswitch" jack. There is a slight cut out on the board that you can easily run the wires through on the left side.

You may have noticed something protruding from the pedal in the previous photo. That is a plastic wall anchor that I cut down in order to fit in the "Footswitch" jack. This will lift the pins of the jack, preventing them from grounding. Without doing this, the mod will not work. A screw from the back of the pedal is shown for scale.

If you connect an actual footswitch to this jack, both the modded switch and the external switch will work.

Hi. I lost the little black piece that pushes the button to record down, see 2nd picture. How could I get a replacement or fix?

Hi! Sorry, I hadn't received a notification for this! You can buy a stick of rubber and cut it to size as an easy, cheap replacement.
