Agreed he needs to die by any means necessary, but addiction is much more complicated than numbing demons. Plenty of addicts (most I've met at rehab/shelters) are amazing moral people, he's not one of them

Agreed and true on both parts, addiction certainly has no correlation to morality, and I promise that wasn't my intention when I made that comment. I am of the opinion that people like hegseth (I refuse to give him the respect of a proper noun/capitalization) knows what he's doing is wrong and the only way he can sleep at night is to abuse alcohol night and day. On some level, he's self-medicating instead of getting help for whatever is encouraging his drug use & wanton destruction. That's bad.
