If you just want to get started coding, forget about AI, just determine what function your project to fulfill, then determine the requirements and environment. Eventually look at existing code at github, following that as example, caution, not all code is good code, keep it clear and simple and very concise
Trying to understand AWS billing is a nightmare. At least with Azure, it's easier. I'd always recommend Azure for novices due to their simpler to understand billing structure.
I keep getting emails from them for me to try, yet already have tools and services, don't need to make the bastard richer, but what about github? I recently trained an AI for my own use, and have thought that others are now using what I taught it. I didn't get paid for it, just have a discount on account cost due to a severence package
Okay, so you'd be the guys that might know: what're the baseline computing and power requirement for a self contained AI model? One that doesn't have open access to external information, just what it has local access to? I'm writing something and don't wanna sound stupid.

Ah, the KISS method. Keep it simple, stupid.

A retired mining machine with plenty of cuda cores and a air conditioned basement would be a great start
Stoneagedudeman
Fuck. What magic would have to happen to make an AI capable of living in a wrist mounted deck?
OregonComputerGuy
This would require a huge advancement in technology so get busy designing it
Stoneagedudeman
What wattage would be needed? Like, what's the power input required to run a decent AI? I might have to pull something out of my ass to write this
