I don't give a shit about the video, I want to know about the tattoos on her hand. What do they mean and why speficially she only tatted her right hand but not the left?
Scratched tF out of my corneas wearing those exact contacts to a costume contest once. Made it to the venue just about blind, left for the ER 5 minutes later.
I thought i was till he said that sick "out of the silent planet" line like 3 billion times. Love that album but boy howdy i got to cut it short sometimes. Dance of death gets close to that red line but its hooks never felt like they lasted forever like they could on brave new world. The rock in rio version of the evil that men do is sick as fuck.
Its not quite up to snuff with iron maidens golden age but its a master class of everything they could have been if they dident get in their own way. the whole album is tuned and mixed specifically to compliment their fadeing ability and has a running theme and subtext that runs through the whole album about deaths inevitability and the hope we will see another sunset beyond our perceived ends. Aside from brave new world it may be the last iron maiden album ive enjoyed. Chefs kiss on pashendale.
Its defefinetly the most thematically cohesive maiden album. They had been wanting so hard to do some kind of progy concept deal for eons now it feels like and only ever really pulled with dance of death. It's no power slave and they weren't playing like the machines they were during power slave or seventh son but it is pretty fucking well executed. It definetly stands out on its own. Montsegur low key is a favorite of mine.
The make up is fantastic! However, "The Trooper" was on "Piece of Mind" (1983) and not "Killers" (1981). I'm still gonna +1, but do better next time ;-)
Tough call... "Somewhere in Time" was my introduction. "Wasted Years" was on maximum rotation on MTV and Radio at a time when I was old enough start gaining control of the TV remote and radio dial. It was one of the first cassettes I bought with own money. " Seventh Son" and "Power Slave" probably round out that trinity, but if you ask me next week I might change those two.
Love man/women who adds power slave to their holy triplet. Somewhere in time has my favorite sound over all of any maiden album, power slave is just my favorite of all time and dance of death in criminally underrated.

Imagine dressing up like that then do bed checks in a local detox. Have we tried that method yet?

I've always liked those contact lenses.. I'd get some if I could spare the cash for them, mainly just to psychologically scar children.

Okay, that's awesome. This pleases the heart of an old metalhead.

The heart of this middle aged metalhead is also happy

Whats your holy trinity of iron maiden albums? "powerslave, somewhere in time and dance of death are mine"
WillemHellfire
Killers, NOTB, Piece of Mind.
springer57
Also, swap dance of death for 7th son and you've got my three.
Blacktusk
Powerslave and Brave New World for me. Hard time deciding third place though. Probably 7th Son or Somewhere in Time.
Andunistar
Not terrible choices. you ever get bothered by how repetitive the hooks are in brave new world at all?
Blacktusk
I think I have listened through "The Evil That Men Do" enough times to be immune to that particular complaint.

Wow, dance of death doesn't often get much love. No more lies is what got me into iron maiden in the first place though.

Cool background behind it and I guess I didn't realize it was that deep. It's been years since I gave it a spin but maybe I'll do that today.

Fairly certain this isn't OP they're just regurgitating instatok content.

That doesn't matter. My comment is for my fellow Maiden fans. Just having some fun.

Whats your holy trinity of maiden albums home slice? "because all things iron maiden must be triplets"

I know, right?!?!?!?

Killers is tied for t=being they're best album. With 7th son.
NZCO
I preferred Somewhere in Time
DevineEscapes
time seemed to me like a plodding and not catchy version of the style they perfected on 7th son. Couple bangers though \m/
