Everything made by this group is still very much enjoyable after a long time. Remember they are responsible for many cool things not only as Obsidian but as Black Isle and even earlier as part of Interplay.

I went back to NV around a year ago, after I watched the show and after a friend got into Fo3 thanks to it. Jammed 5 different playthroughs back to back, it was super fun, but the initial threshold of installing all the mods I wanted wasn't :D Sierra Madre my beloved. Honestly the intermingling of all the DLC with the base game and between each other is amazing, maybe Honest Hearts lag behind for me.

Old World Blues was my favorite dlc; it really reminded me of the humor and style of the older games.

You take a sip from your trusty vault 13 canteen.....

How do you drink from canteen underwater I wonder?

It sometimes happens when you're already drinking from another source. Fun fact, it heals exactly 1hp

15 years old and still as popular as ever. never be a game like New Vegas again.

Well, there is a fan remake in the FO4 engine in the works, so I hope that comes close.

I would recommend Underrail. It's bastard hard and obtuse, but each playthrough is 60-80 hours of "refuses to underestimate your intelligence." Also, a character who is basically The Dude, random hyperslavs, eldritch horrors, lasercats, and blatantly unfair enemies. You remember fighting the Deathclaw mother under the Boneyard? Enjoy Death Stalkers.

That’s how I feel about Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines. 20 year old game and it’s still one of a kind.

V:TM:BL was such a great game for its era. It would have probably come out before HL2 too if it wasnt for the contract for using the source

engine limit them to only releasing after HL2.

I love the story, but I hate some of the mechanics.

what mechanics

I miss the top down isometric of 1 and 2, but it works. The combat ou5r of VATS feels clunky, but it's manageable. However, what I really hate the item HP. It just gets annoying. I hated it in FO3, and it annoyed me in Morrowind and Oblivion (I accepted that it was a part of the series from the original game, but I celebrated the removal in Skyrim)

Yeah, I'll agree that the item degredation in Fallout 3 was absolutely stupid with how fast quality went down, and how there was no easy

way to repair in the field besides hoping you find a matching class of gun and mush them together into one. New Vegas was marginally
