I keep saying, I want a predator movie that reveals that the predators we've seen are just our equivalent to our big game hunters (rich assholes who go to other countries to shoot their animals). Daily life for most predators seems much more peaceful, but Greg over here keeps dropping a ton of money to go kill some humans and showing off his skull collection

I believe the official lore is that they were originally a primeval species who were almost annihilated and then enslaved by a highly advanced species. Eventually they were able to overthrow them in a violent revolution after the more advanced race had grown complacent, then took their technology and adapted it to their own more primeval style and forming the hunting culture.

Ideally but who knows? Maybe in their solar system they have like 5 habitable planets close to each others and they had more time to fuck with capitalism and develop tech in parallele since they have more ressources to burn through before running out.
Imagine if Mars or Venus was habitable, capitalism would make space tech a priority so we could go fkin ruin those planets as well but as consequence we would also be more adept in space travel so yeah... who know.
