I get down voted into hell for asking for a source these days. People are A. too desperate for stuff to be real / fit their narrative or B. Know it's real but are too angry to inform others. Also alot of the sources I do get are from X or some other shady website, so I take everything with a grain of salt, because generally I don't take a tweet as evidence.
I browse comments too and have to scroll quite far down to find the more calm, calculated and informative ones that don't go spewing +

+ misinformation that fits their narrative. Based on my time here and personal experience on Imgur I definitely sense a shift in the community, people are outraged and blinded. I can feel the propaganda generally taking a toll on everyone (including me), also irl around me (I'm from the Netherlands) people are getting polarized.

I'm sorry. It sucks that the world is extra chaotic right now. Everything will probably be alright though (if you're not American and trans / an immigrant, or living in a country struck by war right now). It won't be pleasant but we'll be alright. The EU is trying to smooth things out, I'm appalled by Rutte's performance but let's hope it's going to pay off at least.

If you are in one of those groups in the US, I am so incredibly sorry. What the US does to their own citizens is absolutely disgusting. I'd highly recommend anyone from moving out if you can, or join communities for support.
