I wanna be his best friend.

I've watched a lot of Jim/Vic as I have with Bob Mortimer and Jim has never really grabbed me as a comedian. He's a bit past it imo where as Bob has kept up better I feel. I dont really get this bit here either. I dont really feel like he's backing himself well, not even he knows what's going on here.

Great painter though I'll give him that.

Couldn't understand what he said for the second hat.

Vic reeves and Bob Mortimer are possibly the worlds silliest comedians

His stage name was Vic Reeves . Loved shooting stars , it was a gas. And also there was ulrika kakakaka, the dove from above and a baby drummer. Which was nice. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ZZI5IMupOg

Not forgetting Bob Mortimer, who is equally hilarious. In fact, the second hat that Vic is showing here he gifted to Bob, and in turn presented it in one of the prize tasks on Taskmaster when he appeared on the show.

A lot of people on that show were very charismatic. Bob included :D

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Watch your tense there fella, had me worried he'd died.

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Well I never knew that Vic Reeves was just a stage name.

1 year ago | Likes 92 Dislikes 0

It's actually, strangely, more of an art project that he's done for about 35 years. He's also a very talented artist

Another Jim Moir was a senior executive of the BBC at the same time https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Moir_(executive)

Worked it out a while back when he was on QI and called himself Jim, made me look it up.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oh you're absolutely right! Htf could I have missed that?

And here's me thinking "This guy looks and sounds exactly like Vic Reeves."

1 year ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Think he did a sewing bee or bake off spinoff. It was awesome.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oh royal something!

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Are you thinking of The Big Flower Fight?

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not that one, no. There was one where they did blacksmith and woodwork and other stuff, and some were chosen for the royal academy iirc. The Prince's Master Crafters: The Next Generation. That took some hunting for :). Was good, worth a watch.
