8KB ROM using the AT28C64. I program this using an Arduino EEPROM Programmer. I wrote a lot of C code to make the process of actually writing the program for the 8-bit easier.

Custom made control word labels. Learned a lot about GIMP!

Looks cool in the dark, of course! :D

Obligatory "Hello World" program. Output register shows the ASCII code of the most recently printed character.

Printing out the entire character set of the LCD module.

Just a cool view.

My output register mods. Using an AT28C64 here as well.

Very cool. The first computer I ever used was a Heathkit H-11 my parents built.

Oh, very cool! There is such a rich history in computing. I love to watch 8-bit guy on YouTube and see all the old computers he shows off.

The only storage device available for the H-11 was a paper tape reader / punch. HDOS did not support disks.

Oh man, I bet that was slooow. We are so spoiled today by quick SSDs with TBs of storage.
