First attempt at making a patio

I got these pavers for free from work, leaving a butt load of sand and gravel. Anyone who is planning their own patio plan to use way more sand and gravel than you ever thought imaginable. It's been a fun project with a row or two being completed in a day. Learning all this as I go, if I can you can too.

Biggest thing is starting level and keeping it level from that first row, each block gets a level check in both directions to keep it's buddy just as good. While spraying it with the hose to get the sand between the blocks to settle I had few if any puddles form. Sign of a good job.

Looks like you got atleast 3/4 run under the screening personally excessive for backyards but looks like a solid patio
