The Sofle RGB Keyboard PCB is designed by Josef Adamčík & Dane Evans. My PCBs came from LittleKeyboards.com . This is a full custom case, keycap set, and firmware designed for the PCB by REFC-Labs.com .

The simple and complex legends are all based on NASA's font. There are 2 sets so far. These are each hand made. I am working with a vendor to get some made for retail in a DSA or XDA keycap. I am also working on expanding the legend set to include more custom glyphs and "chart" objects as well as commands.

The case removes every last bit of extra space where possible, introduces pleasing curves and accents, shelters and insulates the bare components, and adds strong fixtures for both OLEDs. It also adds RGB underglow holes, and is meant to be as streamlined / futuristic looking as possible. This board is fully serviceable in every way and supports any cherry MX compatible hotswap switch. Even the controllers and OLEDs are socketed for easy repair.

This set has Kailh Box Mute Jades (quiet tacs for travel). I run box whites and arctic foxes in my other boards (different versions of the same clicky).

Underglow

Running in single color mode. I usually run neon green-yellow. This board supports a multitude of still and moving RGB animation effects. I am currently coding additional functionality into the firmware, which is Vial-QMK. This board has 4 layers including a lockout that has a magic key release, so the set itself can be locked from sending input to the PC. Each layer offers a different keymap so I have access to my numpad and other function keys on the fly. This set has box white switches. Both have a custom dayglow TRRS interconnect also made here in the lab.

The rotary encoders are also buttons. Each layer assigns new commands to click, cw and ccw. Complex legends.

Indicators below each OLED can be programmed to function independently of the backlights and underglow to show things like caps lock status and what layer is in use. Complex legends.
