Same. They even behave in specific manners. When I move my eye they will all go that way, but a few will stop as if they are tethered by something. I can look that them intentionally by knowing where they will stop in my line of sight.
I started trying to draw mine several years ago, but yeah, tether, or seems to go outta focus, or turn sidways, or drift too far. If I shake my head just right, I can reset em to center so I can look at their shape better.

Well floaters specifically. Strictly speaking, are individually temporary. They tend to fade over time. Of course, new ones develop so yknow
But yeah, the eye damage from looking at the eclipse would be permanent

Sleeping with white noise at moderate volume helps me (somewhat) ignore my severe tinnitus.

Yep, each eye has a few that overlap. I feel like I move my head a lot to be sure of what I'm looking at up close.
