Odd turtle shell like fossil?

Gorgeous little crystals, shouldve taken a better picture.
Anyone know what any of these rocks are? I just thought they looked cool but dont know what they are. I found them in midwest Illinois for reference.

A concretion is just a glob of sediments that stuck together. Sometimes they nucleate around a shell or a pebble or something.
