Today's Tech Term Tuesday Term is "Protoduction".
In the search of getting a working idea of what the product could be programmers often create a quick (and dirty) prototype to demonstrate the idea.
Sometimes these prototypes get used as productions systems... or they get put into "protoduction". This can be a good or bad thing depending on how the process was managed.
