[Game dev] Looking for feedback on all powerups in my indie game so far. What do you think?

Here's a showcase of all of the powerups in my game Coaster Tap so far. What do you think I should add next? Current lineup:

1. Bowling Ball
Follows track and explodes multiple enemies into bowling pins.

2. Teacup
Spin move attacks enemies and grants invincibility. Invincibility only lasts during the spin.

3. Pie
Explodes when it hits an enemy or after traveling a short distance.

4. Boomerang
Throw distance is further than the pie and hovers for a second then returns to the player. Breaks after hitting an enemy.

5. Golden Boomerang
Unbreakable version of the standard boomerang.

6. Cloud
Ride safely above enemies and blast them with a rainbow if you want for a short amount of time.

7. Ice Cream Sundae
Grants invincibility and makes the player big for a short amount of time.

Nice suggestions, UFO zapper is my favorite! That could be a lot of fun. Maybe the alien who owns the UFO could make an appearance.

I love them so far, the sundae powerup needs some extra visual maybe an ice cream cone hat

Thank you! I started looking into how to add a rainbow flashing effect like in Mario when he gets a Star Power. Great suggestion, I'm going to add some extra particle effects. The Ice cream cone hat is a great idea!

Seems cool, but I might replace one of the boomerangs with a chakram. Same attack pattern but it's a circle with stuff on it.

Doesn't look like the game gives enough pixels(voxels?) To properly depict the Xena warrior princess iconic weapon.

You're correct, the game objects are made from voxels.

I've never seen those before, they look really cool! Thanks for the suggestion. I'm going to look into them more.

Hey you're welcome! I loved frisbee and aerobie growing up so I remember finding out about them a long time ago. Many video games use them as throwing weapons, often using the return mechanic of the boomerang even though in reality they do not return. It's just like a weaponized frisbee basically.

Awesome, disc golf is a ton of fun even though I never got good at it. Haha I was thinking those chakrams look like they would be hard to catch without losing a hand! But still they would be fun in a video game so I see why they're added. All that really matters is if it's fun or not, it doesn't really need to be realistic.
