Everybody thinks you need a beefy PC to make games but here I'm working on an old ThinkPad X220 (8+ years old) and it's doing great :D
Don't hesitate on startig because you don't have "the right equipment".

Unreal took 10 minutes to start up after crashing on an HDD, at least get an SSD, because its gonna crash on occasion

I have an SSD :D That's the only upgrade I got, it's 100% worth. But I think Godot would even start somewhat okay on an HDD (didn't test it)
