I was using the nano second = 1 foot statement. 1 billion nanoseconds in a second. that would be a billion feet. that comes out to ~189393 miles (rounded down to be conservative :p and to be fair, the statement is of an approximation - and rounding errors are a bitch in relativistic speeds / distances
