Britishname not complicated

I don’t know about you, but these place names seem logical to me. Bridge - well ok there is a bridge. Pett Bottom - obvious right. Bossingham - someone really liked ordering their pigs around. Canterbury - maybe that’s a mistyped vowel. Am I right?

((Yeah ok, I know -ham means village & -bury is just a fortified place))
