Dangit; I was looking forward to reading if the transporter really is scientifically fesable, as well as if everyone who uses it is killed and an identical clone is materialized on the other end.

So I actually spent hours looking into exactly that, and part of why i didn't write it up is that even the creators didn't have good answers to most of the questions. The post would be a lot of "Michael Okuda says 'yeah I dunno'"

Oh I had an advance copy of his bio back in the 90s. 1. Remember he was former LAPD. 2. As a writer one drunken night he confessed if he ever got the chance to be a producer, he’d make everyone eat crap n crawl like they’d made him. He also had a dark side.
