This is Lester, by the way. Ok, so I have an idea that might work or it might not but I'm gonna try...

In addition to being a potter who creates some crazy pottery, I am also a ceramics teacher. They slashed our budget this year, and what I am proposing is I will donate these two crazy mouth vases to the top two people who donate. These will also be glazed, and I will be shipping these with no additional cost.

I have a gofundme link, but if all you can do is upvote for awareness, that would be awesome too.

Teaching in Florida is getting stressful, more so than usual. The reason I am asking for a gofundme instead of an Amazon wishlist is for 2 reasons. One, I really try not to buy from Amazon unless I absolutely have to and secondly, I can order clay from a nonprofit art center that has a flat rate delivery fee. Usually, ordering from somewhere like Blick or Seattle Pottery will charge a TON for the delivery fee. It's not cheap to ship clay across states. But I'm lucky enough to live close enough to a nonprofit art center that sells clay.

If you're interested, here is my gofundme link:

I think your dog tax would make an excellent model for a vase.

I immediately want to see you make a 'Pot of Greed' from Yu-Gi-Oh! in this style. Every time I see one of your posts pop up, I'm blown away (and jealous!) of your talent, OP. I wish I were in a better financial position at the minute, so I could make a donation. I truly hope you get everything you need for this, and then some.

I have loved your posts since I first saw them; these forms are delightful, thank you for sharing them. I fancied myself a potter many, many moons ago & I miss playing in the mud so much.
Please- what age range do you teach? How much clay will $600 actually buy you? Will this be enough for all of your students? Do you need other supplies? I’m also trying to avoid Amazon; hoping you reach your goal, it’s definitely an admirable one. Thank you for being a teacher.

Hey! So the fundraiser is actually a total of 1000.00 but gofundme starts it out at 600 then bumps it up. I'm not entirely sure why it does that. I am honestly just trying to cover how much our schools budget was cut. So this plus what we will get (school) will cover the majority of the clay for the year. I also do a couple of fundraisers within the school that should bring in more money but later in the year. Other supplies that we use are glaze and acrylic paints.

*I will be shipping these with no additional cost... INSIDE the USA you meant... Or you might end up with $200 for shipping to Europe.

I mean, if I have someone donate like 500, I would totally ship across seas.

maybe state top donation *after* deducting shipping cost...big difference shipping to Jacksonville than Timbuktu
