Hey, y’all! So, I post memes that I find and also today I am posting some of the various artwork I made last year. Yay, art crawl!

Resin casting has been fun and challenging to learn. I am currently working on some original figures that I will then make molds from (rather than using mass-produced molds from online)

I have collected so much over the years and am finally using some of my vast hoard of cool stuff in the molds.

I bought the jewel beetle wings as part of a de-stash a fellow creator was doing.

Also the gecko legs glow in the dark

Also bought a huge lot of b-grade dollhouse frames and am now using them to make tiny magnets of my artwork. They are PAINFULLY cute in person and measure about 1.5 inches in height. (Also they have a satisfying clickety clack)

Tried out a new mold. The “grayish” ones actually glow bright blue under a blacklight.

I also started doing this little $5 Art-Cade at shows. It’s fun and you get art so it’s a win-win. My sweeeeeeet Keith Haring jacket is a fave possession.

Last show of the year in 2024!

I made this mold!

Look at the little wrinkles!

More examples of cast animals. Putting eyeballs in them gives them a very Miyazaki kind of vibe.

Big octopus after coming out of the mold.

Beetle mold test.

Frawguh!

It’s always staring at you.

What a lively little chap.

Octopus fresh out of the mold.

These are fun! Collage in a mold.

Just look at this lil guy!

Even littler!

Bigger snail.

This lil gecko baby!

I often get asked if they are glass at shows.

Lil ghosties.

They glow!

I still do some work in the nerd universe. I have been doing sketch cards since 2009.

This was so fun. Matt Smith and those cheekbones.

Lower Decks is so funny!

This is from a House of the Dragon set.

This one, too.

Also this one.

Each the images from the series measures only 3.5 inches wide. (And 2.5” tall)

And we can’t forget the portraits!

The detailllllls.

Oh, hey. It’s that guy.

I also added earrings to my list of things to make and sell. I ordered the charms for these wholesale.

Well, this makes "eye of newt" MUCH easier to source.

Nice.

Very nice, I love things that are made of resin (with the exception of "I poured it over a bunch of boards to make a table and am charging $3000 for it because it's blue")

I mean, after working with the materials, $3K seems reasonable. Those process videos got me into resin

Two questions... Do you have greenish gold resin frog and do you have an online shop?

Two answers: I currently do not have greenish/gold frogs. While I do not have an online shop for resin pieces, you can message me here or on instagram (ampopplewell) to set up a commission piece.

I see a frog and key that are definitely part of the main quest.

Well observed, my good person.
