It’s a well-known fact that Teslas HATE Duran-Duran.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They are horcrux of elon so evil spirit confirmed

"By far the funniest thing I've learned about..." people will believe ridiculous shit & then share that "knowledge" = resulting in FOX News

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Just a reminder that Tesla does not have fully autonomous cars. They have really fancy cruise control that requires an active driver.

How did they get their million’s before starting Tesla?

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Life isn't just based on straight lines.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It was just the egg at first, just resting there. Then there was the AI. But it was before (or after) time began so you do not know.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It' all wierd and crazy. Might need some tinfoil hats for this..

I'm guessing it fucks with the sensor system. Let me find an article.

Tesla currently does NOT have unmanned cars. It's all a joke.

It's not actually true, but it would be absolutely hilarious if it was.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This needs a video and not just a pic

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Would probably work just with white paint, probably sees it as an unbroken line and wont cross it.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well, this isn’t true so that’s a start

2 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 1

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

The real question we need to be asking here is WHY.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The Tesla thinks their is a solid white road line around it and this can’t cross it - since it’s “against the rules to cross a solid line”

2 years ago | Likes 811 Dislikes 18

Utter bs, sorry

2 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

Their, they’re, there. (Psst, its #3)

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

If you watched the whole video the salt didn't work. The Tesla was still able to drive forward.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Dunno about Teslas, but the self-parking on my Merc knows how it got into the spot and can reverse course even with solid lines around it.

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Tesla smart summon will drive over while lines in parking lots (such as where the video takes place). FSD will in some situations too.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yep - Mercedes is the same. It will drive over solid lines (like a stop sign in the UK) but won't stray over them while driving in a lane.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's also against the rules to run over people....yet here we are

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Speeding in schools zones, not using signals, etc. still perfectly OK tho.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Just put a child in front of it and it'll pop right over that line.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Where I live there is usually a solid white line at stop lights that you're not supposed to cross when the light is red. You're obviously

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

free to cross it when the light is green

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

I always see Tesla's dodging in and out of the solid lines around the carpool lane to get through traffic even though

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Teslas will cross lines in parking lots (which is where this is). See the first few seconds of this clip: https://youtu.be/EOyqwxXHm-0

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Or... you can just drive a few feet manually first? FSD can only be engaged while driving, not while parked.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Lern two spel muthr foocker

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 8

How does it cross the lines at stop signs, traffic lights, or pedestrian crossings?

2 years ago | Likes 88 Dislikes 0

Usually through making deals with an Archfey.

2 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Don't bring that logical thinking here, we like to shit on things without any critical thought!

2 years ago | Likes 57 Dislikes 2

This is why the self driving function really is a until it crashes function

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

My car has a lot of self driving features. All of them can be over ridden manually

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's the theory/rumor - but it's not actually true at all. All you would get from doing this is a mildly confused driver as they leave.

2 years ago | Likes 174 Dislikes 6

Yea. How else would the car attack and kill small children?

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

This isn’t for a driver occupied Tesla but rather the feature to where it’ll drive to you automatically so you don’t have to walk to it, imo

2 years ago | Likes 64 Dislikes 5

which nobody uses anyway

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The feature you're describing will drive over lines in parking lots. See the first few seconds of this clip: https://youtu.be/EOyqwxXHm-0

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Nah. I saw the video this pic is from, they thought it would stop the tesla from moving - and they were wrong.

2 years ago | Likes 62 Dislikes 2

Well, if they’re doing it assuming the car won’t react to the driver trying to move, that’s dumb. The auto drive feature I believe is diff.

2 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 6

FSD largely ignores solid white lines since about a year ago, this was early 2018 to stop it.

2 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Salt is considered a purifying substance so the evil spirits that run the tesla are frightened of it.

2 years ago | Likes 239 Dislikes 3

Computers don't actually know anything. A human knows "oh, that's not the real white line, I can cross it", but a car doesn't.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

At least they're better at following rules than people.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not a good thing in all cases. We would, for example, not want a car to stop suddenly because there's a random white line in the road.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Part of why self-driving cars are tricky is because there are times where you have to break the rules, mostly to avoid accidents.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It was a joke, my dude..

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's why teaching them to recognize images is hard, and why AI-generated images look weird. A human can learn pretty quickly what a bird

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

looks like, and that it should have two eyes, a beak, and two legs with the same number of toes at the end. A computer only knows that birds

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

tend to be colorful things in green or blue backgrounds, and that they usually have certain pixel arrangements in certain places.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

They don't even know which part of the image is a bird. Show an image-recognizing AI an empty tree and it might think there's a bird.
