Weird I use obsession, maybe it’s my personality

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

But does it attract cougars?

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Mens or womens? I need to know for ...reasons

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So... what do they put in it?!?

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's a potent eau de purfum. If you ever want to buy it, try and find it as a eU de toilet instead. It's too strong as a purfum.

What a long way to say Calvin Klein Obsession attracts cougars

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Apparently Disney takes all the perfumes and stuff left behind at their hotels and gives them to the big cats for enrichment.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Musk used in it?

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

almost certainly.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

TIL Obsession by Calvin Klein smells like tiger pussy. >_>

3 years ago | Likes 34 Dislikes 2

It smells like Bigfoot's dick

3 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

This is worse than the time a raccoon got in the copier!

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

60% of the time it works every time.

3 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

The scent is Sex Panther™

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I heard it smells like bigfoots dick.

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Wait so something that Calvin does attracts tigers like Hobbes? That's serendipity at its finest

3 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

So Obsession causes an obsession amount felines...

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This is the content I crave.

3 years ago | Likes 35 Dislikes 1

I know, weird trivia like this is just....mmm gimme that crumb of serotonin pls

3 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I’m know in my circle of friends for being the bearer of rando knowledge so like fuck yeahhh gimme all that.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well where’s the puppy?!?!?!?

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm just getting out of bed, I'll upload the pics while I eat breakfast.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Skin-So-Soft baby lotion accidentally became the best gnat and mosquito repellant you could get in the 1990s, citronella?

3 years ago | Likes 89 Dislikes 0

I remember that. Was my go to backpacking bug repellant

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I remember that...Avon..

3 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

In mom Facebook groups, they suggest this as a safe repellent.

3 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Lotta predatory safes near you? We mostly have the herbivorous safes around here.

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

picaridin & jojoba - skin-so-soft is awesome, much nicer on the skin than deet spray

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

It was great for the sand fleas on Parris Island during Marine Corps Boot Camp.

3 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 1

We used in on bivouac all the time while I was in the army

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Hollywood Marine here...ya'll had it ruff, lol!!!

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

How does it work with house cats?

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I want to find out but not for a $102 price tag.

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Exactly.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Probably not as good as beard oil.

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

what brand/scent of beard oil is that?

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I've no idea :D But I imagine it contains something minty or valerian-related.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Now I want to get a bottle of Obsession and disappear into the jungle so I can pet the big kitties.

3 years ago | Likes 149 Dislikes 0

Now this is the kind of scientific endeavour we should be encouraging.

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Let me know how that goes

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Sure, look for my obituary when they find my skeleton in 5-20 years!

3 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

The people who owned my condo before me left a 1/2 bottle of Obsession in the guest bath. Guess they didn't want to sell to a herbivore.

3 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 0

To shreds, you say?

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I was thinking about getting it to test how my pets react to it but it's 100 bucks so...pass.

3 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

One of my cats loves it the other one is completely indifferent. I wear it daily at work (one spritz, it goes a long way) …

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

And my little half feral miniature kitty tries to break in the bathroom and climb up my leg to get to the scent.

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Go to the scent counter at sephora or dillard’s and ask for a sample of obsession.

3 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

Scent seller, I am here to sample your finest Obsession!

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My scents are too powerful for you

3 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Scent seller, I tell you I am going to cuddle big cats, and I need your strongest Obsession!

3 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I'm now increasingly curious what it smells like, and subsequently suspicious if this is really clever (secondary) marketing.

3 years ago | Likes 506 Dislikes 0

if I had to guess, it probably smells like catpee

3 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 1

Close. It's a musk used by the animals to mark their territory. But thankfully synthetics are used these days, except by a select few who>

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Have decided that animal torture & death for human vanity is more important.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I wore it frequently in the mid-90s. It was great used very lightly as it could get overpowering quickly.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Did you notice any herbivores?

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It 100% smells like my middleschoool/high school years. That CK Be, an Cool Water. Flashbacks olfactory style.

3 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

And CK One! And Pleasures and Sunflowers and Tommy and Polo ...... Mmm so many good smell memories.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Acqua Di Gio....

3 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

It smells like sex panther

3 years ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 1

I came down to the comments hoping for this reference

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It smells worse than the time the raccoon got into the copy machine.

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

that's pure gasoline

Top notes: vanilla, basil, bergamot, mandarin orange, "green notes" (?), peach & lemon. Middle: Spices, sandalwood, coriander, oakmoss,>

3 years ago | Likes 216 Dislikes 1

Cedar, Orange blossom, jasmine & rose; base: amber, incense, more vanilla, civet, musk & vetiver.

3 years ago | Likes 148 Dislikes 1

Love the fact that you took the time to list this!

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

The first time I saw the list, I was a little concerned, then appalled, by how many were in it. I prefer much simpler blends.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It’s probably the civet and musk that’s attracting the cats.

3 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

Yeah, that's brought up at the end of the chain. :)

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Um, civet? I'm not sure I want to know what part and how it's harvested.

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

There was a study in 2010 that found big cats have a varied taste in scent, including ocelots' love of Axe body spray. TIL ocelots are>

3 years ago | Likes 152 Dislikes 1

Teenage boys. But it's the general belief that the civetone is what attracts them, due to it being a legit pheromone.

3 years ago | Likes 167 Dislikes 1

Are you a scientist?

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Teenage boy ocelots, you say? https://imgur.com/2CIheuw.gif

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I think we've (you've) cracked the case. I'm convinced enough to do no further research on the matter. Congratulations everyone!

SerenePrincess013 bringing the smell facts.

3 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

My zoo uses it for scent enrichment.

3 years ago | Likes 47 Dislikes 0

Make a video, please! I want to see how the creatures react.

3 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

I wish I could! They use different stuff for enrichment every day-they post signs in zoo about what was used for a particular animal /1

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

They don’t post a schedule of what they use, but they list (and request for donation) obsession for the cats. /2

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Does the zoo have a youtube channel? If not, they should make one.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm curious if they have specific scents in a schedule or the keepers just grab one out of a box that morning. Our keepers picked at random.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Probably overpowering and bad like almost all colognes. Only a handful don't smell like a middle school gym locker.

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 24

Badly made ones are bad. It’s a form of chemical art. There’s a lot of well made perfumes around but it takes time to find ones you like.

3 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Almost universally they are overpowering and give me a near instant migraine. I think I've come across three that havent.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 10

Oh wow LOOK AT YOU Mr. or Mrs. All Powerful Nose. Go get COVID like the rest of us

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Ironic. With my garbage immune system, I SHOULD have gotten it already. Nope! Worse yet, I had septoplasty with turbinate reduction last

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah sensitiveness to fragrance makes it difficult to find something wearable. I’d guess it’s all colognes, EdP and EdT even are too strong.
