They started out offering me a $25 gift card and I could return it, I had to explain that it costs $80 bucks more now, and there's a $70 game stuck in there because I can't eject it. After about 3 people and 2 hours, they were just like fine, here's the money to order a new console and a new game. Return the broke one.

While I was off work last year I basically did that in a similar situation. "I literally have no life for the foreseeable future, this is what I'm going to be doing"

This is how my Uncle got a free $4k fridge, because he's retired, I think it was something like 6 hours on a phone call with them, because the icemaker stopped working.

I didn't go that far, but because they refused to send me a part that would cost a whopping $6, they ended up replacing the whole fridge because of warranties and liability. Being on hold is easy when you have an xbox
