They briefly brought Crystal Pepsi back like 10 years ago, and trying it I saw why it bombed. It just tastes like you poured pure Karo syrup into carbonated water and called it a day. Which yes, is basically all soda is, but damn at least put some flavor in there so it doesn't feel like it so much.

There was a survey company in the mall I used to go to (back in the before days). A pretty girl from the company asked if I would take a survey. Teenage me said, "absolutely." They took me to a room with some other folks. They made us sign an NDA and then handed each of us a 12-pack of Crystal Pepsi about a six months before it actually came out. We had a week to drink it and then fill out a survey of our thoughts on it. It was a cool memory and I honestly didn't mind the taste of it.

I didnt buy mountain dew for a year, got one free every day this way. Then, they changed the bottle to have a wavy pattern to prevent this

I recently started a survival playthrough. I made the mistake this go round of having settlers in Hangman's Alley.

I was a kid when it first launched and loved it. Used to go to the near by deli/convenience store and get a bottle all the time. I was sad when they stopped making it. I tried it again when it was relaunched and it didn't taste the same.
