This tree had to make space. No big loss to my mind
The ground was full of stones
Also clay. Lots of it and a real pain in the a.. no matter if wet or dry
Decided to build a wall to level everything
Also added a small something on the left for the Filter system
Hopefully this will stop the roots coming from the ĥedge
2mm foil will do it
Added some stone foil to protect the 2mm foil frim the sunlight

Just make sure it’s deep enough or has hiding spots for your fish so the predators can’t get them. My aunt had birds and raccoons fishing in her pond

U need more plant coverage or that pond will be pea green in no time. Try floating hyacinths

Also floating plants like duckweed or salvinia. If u have fish throw some elodia or other oxygenation plants in there as well
