So, this gif made it to the front page (original post: http://imgur.com/gallery/rRQahsc) and there were many questions. What is it? And "Where can I get one?!"

The first question was easily answered: it's an incense burner filled with ash (rice paper ash is one possibility, but there's more). Okay, cool!

... now how do I get one? That was a little more complicated. We don't even know what any one component (besides the ash) is called. How do you search something unknown? Obsessively.

After hours of determined autistic focus, I found the answers!

I wanted to share this info with anyone who also immediately wanted whatever the hell that cool looking thing is.

Most bowls seem to be made of ceramic, copper, brass or some sort of alloy. Very nice!
