Some of my favorite people have owned and operated an escape room business for the last couple years. In my opinion, they have some of the best rooms in the country.
After they opened, I became obsessed with escape rooms. Every vacation I took centered around them and I probably did about 30 in 6 months. I was addicted.
When the stay-at-home order began, I reached out to the owners to see if they needed my help with anything at all, and we put our heads together and built a top-notch at-home escape room. I am not an employee, I just love escape rooms and wanted to help out my friends.

The game is part print-n-play and part digital. I had a hand in the digital part and also some of the puzzle design. We got one of their employees (with a great voice and a high quality mic at home) to do a voiceovers of all the dialogs and it makes it feel a bit like a point and click adventure game from the 90's.
We recreated one of their actual game rooms, so most of the photos are of an actual room. We tinkered with the puzzles a bit to be playable at home.

We also did a deluxe version with physical laser cut and CNC'd props. They look so fucking good.

There's like 20 puzzles in the game, and the first few people who tried it said it was quite a challenge, so we dialed back the difficulty a bit.
The game takes 90-120 minutes and there is NO TIME LIMIT! So you're not racing the clock. Best of all it's pay-what-you-want and starts at only $10!
