They're not very good but I enjoy making them and my group really likes them. I use the program Dungeon Painter Studio to make them which is a lot of placing objects and textures. It helps because I have no artistic talent otherwise lol.

I make a lot of travel maps and towns - ever since I got into it the group's been a bit spoiled with how many maps I make.

We don't fight on a lot of these maps, a mix of everything from investigation to NPC interactions.

Doesn't mean you can't fight on them. Heck, you can use them for pretty much anything.

Some are really simple and get used only for small scenes our DM wants to paint.

Others take a bit longer to get through and have a lot going on. I like adding random items to keep our DM on their toes when players ask questions.

Our DM wanted to do a little Escape Room type thing for a quick one shot before we hopped into more campaign - this is a wizard's tower I designed off of one of the player's suggestions.

This is a destroyed town I made for a war-esque campaign we did a while back.

Entrance to a hidden cave that was for another campaign where we had to retrieve powerful arcane artifacts.

This is kind of my standard layout for most villages/towns that we use - sometimes I go with more buildings, sometimes I keep it very simple.

Occasionally I go big and make a whole city - this isn't complete and I eventually plan on having every building filled in. Hope you all enjoyed my late submission to the art crawl! Keep rolling your dice everyone, and if you don't play dnd I highly suggest just getting a few friends together and trying it out!!!
