It's a bivalve shell but I'm not sure of the ID I have another like it that I got out in the national grasslands a few years ago.

Everybody will say that's a crinoid stem plate but I'm not so sure

This is a type of clam shell. Small brown fragment shows ridges from the shell. The thing is I think the entire rock is a fragment of a much larger shell.

Exceptionally delicate fossils so thin you can actually see the rock behind it

That's actually a shell imbedded in the rock
Something like a Herbatella from the open side

There is actually a lot going on in this rock. I'll have to dig some of it out

And I have no clue what this is. Looks like some kind of nautilite fragment?

And another I've got no clue. Dug the rock off half of this. There's another on the back side but only the lip is there the rest is just the print left when whatever this is weathered out of the stone

Fossil soup!

A few small clams and Turitellias

Larger Turitellia

And I made this to commemorate my love of fossils! Beef bone with abalone inlay anomalocarsis on puka and some kind of thin black shell bead. Had to add this as I wear it all the time!

Fascinating

Thanks. I think there is some mildly cool stuff there. No idea what half of it is. That first one I think is a shell. I would totally say

Not a fossil except I have a good one that is exactly the same shape sitting on the shelf next to it
