Writing is hard, especially making all the voices in your head get along long enough for a plot to emerge.

Honestly I find it helps if you just take a good, long, hard, stiff -... *sideeyes someone offscreen* you shush back there - DRINK, and then just take them all off the leash and just write down whatever ungodly chaos happens as an after-incident report. Much easier.
