Oh, it totally is a financial decision, maybe just not the way you think it is. CBS probably believes by doing this, it’ll spare them from Trump’s wrath and he’ll even throw them a bit of garbage scraps if he’s feeling generous. All this for the low, low price of bending at the knee.

I'm fully aware. I now hope he goes even harder against Trump and see if CBS tries to cancel him sooner than May 2026 they announced, you know, "financial reasons".
