Y'all bitch about gatekeeping, turn around and shit on folks whose idea of fun doesn't exactly square with yours, and somehow manage to completely miss the irony.
This meme has made me have a more positive view of the guys who mod their cars like this. I won't be able to see one of these anymore without envisioning a four year old excited about showing off his cool light up shoes.
Same size peen. Yup, same picture. Lifted truck w low-profile tires screams MDE. Ultra pavement princess. I bet it's a gas truck too. If you're going to drive a truck because you need a truck, buy a diesel. Otherwise you're driving the truck equivalent of a V6 automatic Mustang convertible. Tell the rest of us men you need attention without telling us you need attention.
I don't have one, but I like nicely modded vehicles. There's a few around my town that I smile everytime I see them. Mind you I think this specific one is fairly garish, and not what I would consider "nicely modded"
The point of underbody LEDs on a lifted vehicle is to assist with spotting when it's darker. That being said, if it was a real off-road rig, it wouldn't have only 2 mm of sidewall on the tires and the LEDs would be white.
They need to come up with those little tinkling things we had on our bike spokes back in the early 90s but in car form. Drive-bys would be so much more entertaining.
90s style clothes was coming back and getting popular with younger generations. I dunno now, though. My cousin was my only source for knowing anything of that generation and I've been out of touch with family, lately.
They use the "upgrades" to their trucks as write offs on taxes because a concrete guy needs a 6 inch lift and negative offset wheels. I don't try to understand it, I'm sure it will cause issues with suspension travel and bearings.
You wish, they are now trending in Europe. I live in a very flat area yet last time I left the supermarket I was stuck in traffic between a jet black Hummer and a Jeep that must weight 2 tons while empty. Giant military vehicles for groceries, in a metropolis.
They'll run out of money eventually, especially if fuel prices keep rising. Neither of those brands know how to spell "Fuel Efficiency", so they must be quite rich in the first place.
I wanna hate the truck, but...at the same time, it IS kinda rad. I dont know why (drugs) but the reaction it gave me made me immediately think of the end of this family guy scene. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1-iQ_KW6HEk "I can almost deal with the noise, but...its the truck. Its, just too gaudy. It's too much.. "....YOU LIEK IT??" "........yeah I kinda like it..."
I bet the owner of that truck is also short, ugly, and developmentally disabled./s (thats the joke right guys, we're making fun because there's something wrong with them?)
I upvoted you because you're right. I wish body shaming men would stop and we could shame their character instead. And maybe the owner on the left is a woman. Maybe it's the nicest guy in the world and he just thinks it looks cool. Because I'm going to be honest, it does look really cool. Also, is having a small penis bad? Something a man has 0 control over is something to be shamed for?
After having this conversation many times, people back into the argument that it's about the 'energy', big dick/small dick 'energy'. So small dick = inferiority complex and a need to compensate for it with a big car and such. these phrases being everywhere would obviously only exacerbate that whole thing, making them feel even more inferior. It's a shame people need to attribute self confidence to a dick size but unless they are needed those trucks could be seen as inconsiderate to everyone else
Oh yeah absolutely. Modern day full size pickups are just child/civilian killers I agree. The dick thing needs to be ended, just like we stopped using 'gay' as a derogatory for bad/dumb, or at least made it a slur, same thing needs to happen to small penis. Shaming someone's nature or using something people can't change is not ok.
Okay, sure. I'm just sick of the "this serial rapist/murdurer probably lives at his moms house" motif. Like why? Why do we look at bad people and yell "see this bad person that's awful? He's JUST LIKE YOU undervalued men in our society!" Ugh.
I'm gonna need a bit more explanation on your comment I think. Otherwise the small penis comment, while the sentiment is yeh "this guy is unworthy", having a small penis is not something that's wrong with a person. It's simply an anatomical trait handed to them at birth, they didn't choose it and as long as it's physiologically functional there's no need to interfere.
Man, honestly, I wish they made those in adult sizes. My kids had a pair each that came with a remote that let you change up the colors and also set them to flash differently if you wanted. They were cool as hell.
I bought a pair of light up sneakers for one of the junior members and made a Dad Joke™️ by asking if they had them in a men’ size 9. The sales assistant said they would sell so many…
The problem isn't that they don't exist at all, the problem is that they aren't a common thing sold in regular stores. I don't think I know a single adult who wouldn't want light up shoes. I really don't understand why they are a special only-sold-online-in-about-6-companies-worldwide thing.
...I don't even know what to say here. I had left out saying that I also wished that they made adult Heelys. And here we are... Light up. Adult sized. Heelys. I Am Chuffed.
Wow... that's awesome. Wild how things work out sometimes, huh?
The universe has clearly spoken, I say go order them right now, if you haven't already, lest "supply chain issues" thwart your possessing something you are obviously meant to have.
Did you research this? When you see a lifted truck, do you check the owners penis? We don't have these ridiculous vehicles over here in Ireland, so I'm genuinely curious. When you see one, do you immediately start imagining the owners cock? What if it's owned by a woman? Whr body part would you shame?
Women don't buy those usually and the general consensus is if you do own one of those impractical monstrosities you're overcompensating for something. Also they're assholes and bad drivers so it feels appropriate to just assume they all have tiny dicks.
Why do they feel like they need to overcompensate? Is it because people like you tell them and everyone every single moment of their lives that if they have a small penis, which they can't control, that they are actual human garbage and should hate themselves?
It's still a nice bit of normalised body shaming. Penis size affects a mans self confidence and we're only making it worse by correlating size with personality traits. So now big penis owners think the world owes them something and small penis owners will either feel the need to prove themselves in stupid ways or they'll have anxiety over it cos haha small peepee.
You and general smarty pants think on advanced levels that most men are not capable of yet. I’ve had a friend in elementary and he was suffering a lot because he had a micro penis because even kids hear that from us adults and parrot that stuff. He remained a unconfident until today which is a shame because he’s the nicest person on earth.
Which is why us adults need to stop enforcing the idea that small penis = stupid or bad person. Same with racism, homophobia, etc, if we give that idea to our kids they will carry it on and it'll be a whole lotta work to unlearn it.
But yeh, it's not gonna happen overnight but alas, this is a hill I will die on cos I will help nothing by staying silent.

Honestly, ill pick people modding their cars with lights any day of the week over them modding their exhaust to be louder

One of those has a significantly higher, inherent value. Because obviously Spider-Man > everything else.

As someone who had light up shoes way back when, I take issue with this. The shoes are FAR less trashy.

Yep, or like a six-year-old girl putting streamers in her handlebars.

I kinda like the all white look of the truck, but raised like that with all the LEDs? meh.

Sometimes, people are flashy for their own pleasure. Like the light up shoes. As a kid, no one is more happy than the one with them on their feet.

Do they make them for grownups? Because I want to taste the pleasure of light up sneakers.
