This is an IBM ThinkPad 390E from 1999. It has 96MB of RAM, a Pentium II 300PE processor, and a 13.3" 1024x768 display.

Keyboard, with trackpoint for mouse control.

Better look at the LCD. As you can see, with Opera 12.02 we can access the old Reddit layout.

Since this laptop is old, it only has a built-in 56K dial-up modem for Internet access. Luckily, it has a CardBus II slot, so we can use a PCMCIA Ethernet card to get on the modern web. This is a Intel PRO 10/100 Ethernet Card, and it is fast enough for this laptop.

Does it have usb ports?

It has one USB port, but I it's USB 1.x, which has a max speed of 12Mbps (like 1.25MB/s). It's OK for installing software though.

The CD-ROM drive is much faster, so I would use that for installing PC software if you have the disc.
