I thought about all that I could do to help people and defend people's rights as well as Democracy. I then came up with an idea to walk, yes walk, all the way to Washington DC. I would call it "The Great American Journey" or "Walk for Democracy". I know how wholesome this community can be. Which is why I'm asking if anyone would support me and if it is a good idea.

Would take weeks, if not months, depending on where they're coming from, and people gotta work, pay bills, feed kids, all that jazz. I mean if you could somehow get enough sponsors that it was taken care of for everyone who participated, for as long as they could trudge, that'd be neat...
Or, do it in relays, starting in L.A. and heading cross-country like Forrest Gump. Just a few people do the whole trip, but you get joined by ppl as you go, wherever they can?

It's still a w.i.p, but my original idea has me trekking alone.

Where are you walking from?
Baltimore -> Fine idea
Los Angeles -> Maybe not the best idea.

Which is why I'm discussing it. Also, fyi, I'd be starting in Saint Paul, MN
