I'd love to intern and work at the local library here. I've only gotten to clean in there so far, but it seems so nice.

Strong work JB! Keep it up. Some of my best memories with my son have happened at our library.

Funfact: Jacob is a common given name of Hebrew origin. The English form is derived from Latin Iacobus, from the Greek Ἰάκωβος (Iakobos), ultimately from the Hebrew יַעֲקֹב‎ (Yaʿaqōḇ). The name is interpreted as meaning "he, who made a book display." The prefix “ya-” and the internal vowel “-o-” typically indicate a masculine third-person singular imperfective form in Hebrew, suggesting meanings like “he will”, “he may”, or “he did”.

Excellent work @op! Literacy promotion is one of the most honourable vocations.

Literacy and numeracy are the three most important aspects of education

Upvoted because I got the joke.

It sure is nice when libraries actually care about promoting literacy. Contrast to the one my mother worked at for many years, the director couldn't care less about literacy, just flashy looks and how it reflected on her personal reputation.
