Hello. To those of you who follow what I post, you know I have (or rather, had) two lists in alphabetical order of all the Warhammer 40k posts that I have done. However, I previously made a post about how Imgur just randomly deleted my list before. Well, I recently made the lists so long, I separated them into A-J and K-Z. I logged into today, after making some new posts, only to find my K-Z list was deleted...again...except for one post. So, now I get the fun of rebuilding the entire list, all over again!
Edit: You may notice that the K-Z list looks complete. It isn't, but I can't seem to find every single post. I think some may have been deleted. Regardless, the K-Z list is about as good as I can currently get it.
I've also copied both lists (if lazily), into a file, and will try to update as I post.

Yes, but I've taken at least some steps this time. I've re-built the list to near completion and copied both the A-J and K-Z lists onto a single file. It isn't perfect, but it eliminates some issues.

make a copy of the list and save it on your computer/smartphone etc. so you only have to copy paste it if it gets deleted again? a backup of the list.

Was going to make the same comment. The lists are literally made of lines of text. Copy/paste into a text file, save the text file in Dropbox/GoogleDrive/OneDrive/whatever Apple calls their online storage. Or just send an email to yourself.
Still be annoying if it happens again but there's a million ways to make it 99% less annoying with close to zero effort.

If you'd like to keep the list publicly available you could always throw a copy into pastebin.com and put a link to that into your about section of the profile.
That way you get another level of redundancy, too.

The Enshitification of this site continues unabated. I can't share direct links to files on android anymore. They took that away a couple months ago. When I reported it as a bug, they acted like it was a new feature suggestion. What a joke

@op switch to the old desktop UI and they might reappear on your profile for easy copying. I think the posts might be in some sort of shadowban mod-queue that is now unmaintained :(

It was in my history. Or maybe it was the content that was deleted (which I didn't understand, so I'm sory) and not the entire posts.

No big deal. Your history just has the same URL as before, so, it would take you to the list as is. So, I am currently rebuilding it, though don't expect a fully finished list any time soon

I appreciate that, but I am not joining other sites for a list. I don't like social media and reddit is basically just more of that. This is honestly getting exhausting. All Imgur has to do is leave my stuff alone and they can't be bothered to do nothing.

Why not just a public Google doc or something with the list you just share a link to?

Once you've got it built, the URL's shouldn't change, right? So would you be able to save it/copy paste afterwards in a notepad file (so there is no formatting/funkiness?) To save you just copying it and pasting again if imgur does anything stupid?

Maybe, but that's all predicated on ONE issue, me remembering EVERY single post I've ever done. If my estimates are right, I've already done over 1,000. Even if it were evenly split between the A-J and K-Z list (which it isn't), that would still be around 500+ posts to remember.
