Never said they were off forever just that a filter was turned off. Its pretty obvious they are attempting to train some new type of filter but the expression of frustration over the number is scam and bot accounts is still valid.

Honestly Im not an expert but if they understood that most of the content being blocked was bad it would make sense to train your model first on that content and then add exception data for the posts that they deem "good" that were previously getting blocked. After that tests successful or at least successfulish then deploy your new filter. If I told a client that we werent going to quarantine nonconforming parts because some good ones were getting stopped... Yeah I cant see that going well.

Yeah I want to see a sample of these "good posts" that were blocked, because I really doubt the 100 posts that were blocked were worth the 1000 spam posts.

I wonder if the "good posts" were all the people creating accounts to sell stuff through reddit. Seen 150 posts selling gun parts, shoes, watches, and stolen account information.
