Pealed the sticker off with out it ripping and messing up the box as you scrape it off

That you managed to remove the sticker? I use the hair dryer to soften the adhesive.

How does that get hot enough to soften the adhesive but not ruin the plastic?

Put your other hand next to the area. If your fingers are starting to hurt, ease off.

You have to be careful to keep it at the right distance, sometimes instead I take off the paper part and dip the cover in hot water.
