Same. I like the retro aspect, but also the way that things have volume/presence in a way I'd have died over when I was a kid playing SNES.

I'm using an editor that lets me build stuff in a sort of MSPaint style, but in 3D. I can totally skip the texturing step and (1/2)

don't have to bring something heavy like Blender into my workflow. This is so much faster than real 3D modeling, and I like the look! (2/2)
