I love the wizards Sony hired in the 90's they are geniuses at miniturisation and craming 20lbs of shit in a 5lb bag.

What an amazing piece of technology.

Still have my minidisc player… it’s now 19 years old and no longer works. Would love to repair it and give my tapes a listen.

I have never owned a player but have a couple of minidiscs, they are obviously used but I have no idea where they came from or what is on them.

Mine still works, I used it when I worked overnights stocking shelves at Target back in like 2003. No skipping and the fact that you could fit 5hrs of music on a single MD was great. I later used it with a tape deck adapter in my first couple cars before our phones were up to the task of being our primary music players.
