Mine still works, I used it when I worked overnights stocking shelves at Target back in like 2003. No skipping and the fact that you could fit 5hrs of music on a single MD was great. I later used it with a tape deck adapter in my first couple cars before our phones were up to the task of being our primary music players.

I have never owned a player but have a couple of minidiscs, they are obviously used but I have no idea where they came from or what is on them.

just bought a Sony MDS-JE330, now... next step, a smaller portable one, that supports netmd, and im good to go :D
